DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:- 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
2. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in ship design and naval architecture, including demonstrated leadership responsibilities. 3. Proficiency in Rhino, Maxsurf, AutoHydro, GHS, AutoCAD, Softwares. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- 1. Team Leadership & Project Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the naval architecture team to promote technical excellence and collaboration.

Plan, assign, and oversee tasks, ensuring efficient resource utilization and timely achievement of project milestones.

Monitor project progress, conduct technical reviews, and approve deliverables in line with quality standards.

Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Client Engagement & Project Delivery

Act as the primary technical interface for clients, fostering strong and long-term relationships.

Lead technical discussions, design reviews, presentations, and progress meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Ensure project outputs consistently meet client requirements, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
3. Technical Expertise
-
Direct and contribute to hull form development, stability analysis, weight estimation, and hydrostatic/hydrodynamic assessments.

Perform and review basic structural and scantling calculations in accordance with Class and IMO regulations.

Review and approve GA plans, midship sections, and structural layouts.

Ensure full compliance with applicable classification society rules (DNV, ABS, BV, etc.) and international maritime standards.

Conduct vessel inspections, site surveys, and onboard assessments as required.

Review, finalize, and approve technical reports, calculation packages, and design documentation.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and regulatory developments in naval architecture.

Promote the integration of advanced digital tools such as CFD, FEA, and 3D modeling into design workflows.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and encourage adoption of industry best practices. DESIRED SKILLS Strong working knowledge of classification society rules, IMO regulations, and relevant industry standards.

Proven expertise in hull design, stability analysis, hydrodynamics, and structural assessment.
