DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: -

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Marine, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in estimation, preferably within the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of shipbuilding, offshore fabrication, piping systems, and marine equipment.
• Proficient in estimation software, MS Excel, and AutoCAD (preferred).
• Familiarity with international marine and offshore industry standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - 

• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to clearly define project scope and technical requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate man-hour estimates for marine, offshore, and oil & gas engineering projects.
• Analyse manpower, resources, and equipment requirements to ensure realistic and competitive project budgets.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial quotations.
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, design, and project teams to ensure estimates align with technical and execution requirements.
• Prepare and submit technical proposals in compliance with client specifications and deadlines.
• Support sales and business development teams during client negotiations by providing man-hour breakdowns and technical clarifications.
• Monitor project progress and assist in the preparation of variation orders during execution.
• Ensure all estimation and proposal activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
