DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:-
1.
Diploma in Mech engineering with 10 to 15
years’ experience in Marine and O&G sector.
2.
Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience Structural
discipline as Sr. Designer managing Designers and Draftsmen in the engineering department
ROLES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
1.
To efficiently manage and support a team of
Structural Designers and Detailers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring consistent operational delivery through smart
working and the efficient execution of their day-to-day tasks.
2. To liaise with the Internal clients i.e.: HR,
IT and furnish information for smooth function of team.
3. To liaise with
Engineering Manager on daily basis and update the overview, Project planning,
Manpower forecast and software requirement etc.
4. To advise and provide assistance to
Structural Designers and Detailers on any technical matters to improve
productivity and submissions.
5.
Keeping discipline and punctuality of team
members.
6.
To improve service delivery performance and
reduce costs where possible.
7.
To ensure KPI’s are achieved by both teams.
8.
Carry out Engineering Audit’s as per the
plan.
9. Working alongside the Team,
assisting with resource
requirement and technical issues or queries, attending by conducting a
meeting at least once per week.
10. Follow up
HR process such as informal
and, formal discussions on the manpower requirement.
11.
To support the Business
Team in Structural 3D and 2D Detail engineering estimation and queries.
12. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting,
orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
13. To comply with all the QHSSE rules/regulations
of OTS as well as Client.
Desired Skills:-
1. Understanding of Structural connections,
fabrication, welding, and offshore installation methodologies.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to
work in a collaborative team environment.
3. Shall have good knowledge in 3D software
& AutoCAD 2D/3D.
4. Should have experience in visit sites to
gather information and details for Bids and Projects.
5. Should have good confidence to lead a team.
6. Should have quick discission making ability
7.Good knowledge in MS Office.
8. Good Communication Skills within the team and
the clients. (Writing & Verbal)
9. Experience working on EPC projects and
liaising with clients and third-party verification bodies.
10. If Candidate have qualified for ISO, HSE,
OHSA, certification shall have an additional feather.
